I am having serious problems changing my efin CV Boot. I can make the simplest things so difficult.

I have the hub assembly off now. HOW DO YOU GET THE SPENDLE OFF THE AXLE?!?!? I can see that it's splined but is it pressed on or is it held by an invisible e-clip?!?!?

should i pull the entire half axle and replace bothe boots?!?!? I need help fast before i screw something up royally!!!

im not a rancher owner nut here goes 1st take out the cotter pin that goes threw the nut on the end of the axle

2nd take off the nut

3rd pull it off , if it wont come off then tap it with a rubber mallet , if you ride in wet cond. then its probably rusted on there and will require some carefull hits with the rubber malet , dont hit it too hard or it will brake .

This link might help you visualize how things go together.
HLSM for Honda ATV
If it's like my old taurus, We pressed the shaft back through the hub with a flywheel puller type of tool. The inner shaft just clicks in with a ring to hold it in place. We could pry between the transmission case and the cv joint body to get that one out. When you go to put it back together, the inner one just slides in. The outer one gets pulled back by the axel nut.

Good Luck
