ATVer14, I havent been able to get up to the badlands in a while but yes it is an awesome place to ride. I would really like to go up to Silver Lake In Michigan sometime it looks like more fun!! I will email you when I sell the spacers. The reason I am changing out the front end is because my brother in law( who wont pay for nothing and is irresponsible!) had a wreck on my wifes 300ex and bent the right tie rod pretty bad and lower a-arm. I went to find out how much a stock lower a-arm and tie rod would cost and it was $300 w/o tax. Then I heard of exchanging the stock a-arms for 400ex a-arms which makes it like +2 on each side. There is absolutly nothing wrong with the spacers all I have to do is unbolt them and its done! The only hard thing about them is getting the longer bolts into the hub. They are the Graphlite ones that durablue sells.

Zoinks!!!-
One last question, do you know the difference between the graphlite spacers and the EZ fit spacers from durablue? Does anyone know?

You have to knock out your studs to use the graphlite spacers. You knock out the studs and replace them with a through bolt. The easyfit spacers use a threaded stud that you screw on to your original stud.
If I had the chance to buy them all over again, I would buy the easyfits. If you plan on putting them on and not changing your tires anytime soon, go with the cheaper graphlites. But, if you change tires weekly like I do, go with the easyfits. It becomes a real pain in the neck to change the bike around from MX to TT and vice-versa. You have to hold the through bolt with a wrench and socket the lug on.

I know that this question has been deat to death, but I need to hear form someone who runs mx with wheel spacers. i have a 300EX and want to put a set on. I am afraid of snapping something because of the extra width. Who races mx with wheel spacers? What are your thought? What, if anything, have you broken?

I like to push mine to the limit. I get decent air (5-12'). I need to know if the bike and spacers hold up. The reason for this question is that 85% of my riding is on my mx track. The thing keeps getting bigger and bigger.

Thanks,
NT

FOURWHLS-
Thanks for the input, I don't plan on changing front wheels soon, so the graph-lite's seem like the way to go. How hard is it to hammer out the studs and can you put the origional ones back in if needed? Also, like N3C0T0 said, I need to know if the spacers hold up under MX conditions since I ride 90% MX, and I realize that the shocks will feel a bit softer due to the increased leverage on the shock, so that needs no explaining. Thanks for all the help guys.

It's gravy to hammer out the studs. Just screw on a lug until its even with the end of the stud and smack it with a hammer. It will pop right out. Yes, you can reinstall the studs afterward.

They will work great for MX, just make sure you keep your lugs tight. I shattered one of my spacers, because the lugs came loose. If your lugs are tight you will never break it.

Thanks for all your help FOURWHLS. I can't wait to get out on the track with the spacers now and see what kind of a difference they make.

I have a question. I am going to be doing some dampening work to my Warrior a arms, cutting and welding. If I use front wheel spacers, will that weaken anything? All I can picture is the front end looking all goofy with dampening and spacers and something breaking really easy. What do you think?
