My brother, friend and i recently went to the badlands offroad park.
The first day we were there was awsome. The second day was awsome all except for when i was riding with my friend w/ a 400ex we were jumping and then started climbing hills. When i came back to them they were yelling at me, saying your battery, your battery. I guess the recons can't handle alot of jumping. SO IF ANYONE COULD TELL ME THE BEST PLACE AND PRICE FOR NEW RECON PLASTIC FRONT AND REAR THAT WOULD HELP ME GREATLY.

THE WORST OF ALL!!!!!! On the third day we were planning on staying for around 4 hours. After about an hour of riding we come up to this large concrete hill that wasn't smoothed out, it was just poured and left there. My friend on his 400ex zoomed up the hill then half way up he got off to the side which was half dirt half stone. it then stalled 2 ft from the top. It then started to do a hobble slide on the concrete then flip, it threw him off and rolled 4 times. We flipped it back over noticing alot of damage. Nick the one driving the 400 cut his elbow pretty good and sprang his ankle.

DAMAGES TO THE 400EX:
1. hole in seat
2. all rims dented up / left rear need to be replaced
3. handlebars
4. steering stem bent
5. brand new nerf bars dented and bent
6. all hardware on handlebars was mangled
7. platic scraped badly
8. graghics tore up

So if you can give me a price estimate and good place to get all these party please post a message!!!!!!!!!!!THANKS

Hey guy, i know how it is. My battery box on my recon for some reason like cracked all the way around like the brim of it.. still hooked up on there kinda. I just put two little tiny gashes in it.. like a screwdriver had gone threw it.. then i took a hose clamp and put it through. holds great. Just a little afro-enginering for you. haha.. save you 100 bucks or so on rear plastic that way.

Recondude,

I know how the afro-engineering goes. lol You gotta do what you gotta do sometimes. Right now, I've got an L bracket, a bolt, and a nut holding the left side of my airbox up on the frame. It's been working for now. So, until it fails me, it'll more than likely stay there.

Sorry to hear about your guys bad luck!

You can't blame the Badlands for your problems, blame the driver!
