well, most of the kits from powrol require you to split your cases and machine them to accept the bigger sleeve. FST, and TC doesn't require that. But if you are going to stroke it too, then its not a problem. I plan on installing a stroker crank this winter.
If you are going to sell your 250x why are you concerned with it? I thought you hated it?

NO NO NO I dont HATE my 250X I like it alot but I like 250R's more. I figured that while im waiting I night as well do some mods to it to get MORE POWER!! I know it probably sounds stupid but oh well. I dont mind spliting the cases because I'm not doing it , i didn't relize you had to split the case with the powroll stuff , thanks for that info!

yea i really dont think your going to do this that sounds like a lot of money if you ask me you will have to work alot to get that stuff id say just sell it and be done with the thing if your even selling it or trading it im not saying its not going to happen im only saying its point less to pay for all that and only have it for a little while right?

I wouldn't waste my money on the "cheaper" stroker crank mod. They heat up your stock rod and stretch it to make it a stroker. Do you really want to run more power on a stretched out stock rod? Not me.
Save yourself the headache and buy an aftermarket rod and stroker crank. It's more money, but way more reliable.
BTW... I snapped a stock rod in my 330. I can't imagine running a weaker stretched rod.
