Well, you guys inspired me to go home and try this out....

So I go out on the Banshee and try it on the level pavement. I probably tried it about 7 times and got absolutely nowhere. I tried various braking pressures, and various speeds, but nothing. I was practically sitting on the gas tank and the thing would just skid. I'm too much of a sissy to actually "throw" my weight forward while braking, but I'd imagine that is what I'm going to have to do.

Anyway, I'm going to give it a shot again tomorrow. Any other tips or anything?

Thanks,

-Josh

If you are "scared" try it on a bicycle. Once you get the feel for balancing on the front tire, try it again on the quad. I can endo on grass, loose dirt, etc, with my 400EX. Depending on the turf, I usually have to get WAY forward so my hips are hitting the handlebars to start the endo, then when it gets up there, I can relax a little. I can't ride them forward tho, I can only come to a stop, balance for a split second, and fall back down.

i haven't tried it on a banshee but if you just skid your probably gonna have to throw your weight forward. i have a video of a guy doin it on a banshee and he flips it and he flips over his bars then gets up real fast so the quad doesnt' hit him. when i go to far i usually catch the bike with one leg. then push it back down to 4 wheels.

no offense but i'm almost positive that 400EX stoppie is fake...it doesn't look like the front suspension is compressed at all and also by the shoulders there are obvious marks of copy and pasting.

Finally I can do them!!! Yup, Juggalo is right, I had to "throw" my weight forward while braking. Pretty scary at first...it's hard to tell how high you really are. CLICK HERE FOR THE PICTURES!

You gotta click on "Pictures" and then go to "Josh's '98 Banshee pics"
