I really want some maier black front fenders for my 300ex, but after looking at some pictures with them on it looks like you have to take off the handlebars to get it on. Is this right?

If it's the one piece fenders, then yes, you have to take off the handlebars to slip the plastics on. I just race-cut my fenders yesterday and I like the look and feel of it much better now.

Thanks for replying man. The only reason I would want maier race cut is cuz its cheap and I want black. I guess I would be better off getting stock black cuz I don't wanna have to take the handlebars off everytime the plastic comes off.

maier plastic is strong, its durable, but it is dull

its not so much ugly, its just not shiny like stock plastic.

The race cut is nice, i had it on my 94 300ex. I liked it. I flipped it a few times, never hurt it some scratches.

I'd reckomend it if you don't care about the color!

i have maier yellow plastic. it was specialy made and cost a crap load too. but i do have to say
it is very durable. its defintly been through some bad hits and it still looks brand new.
it might look a lil dule but do what i did. if u want to see my 465 yellow ex give me ur email.

i have got black flames down the side and it looks great. and i put that leather cleaner crap on it and it shines it up enough for me
