Hello,

I am completely ATV illiterate, and am only tring to help out my computer illiterate Brother-In-Law. He is interested in obtaining some type of limited Honda dealership or franchise limited initially to parts and/or accessories for ATV's. There is no Honda dealer in our county, but there are in some adjoining counties. Any Honda ATV owners or riders around here have to travel quite a way for parts, service or accessories. My brother-in-law currently operates a medium and heavy truck service and repair shop, and would like to add this to his business. Do any of you know how to get in contact with a Honda rep. or obtain any dealer information? He is aware that there is probably a significant cost involved, and that is why he would like to keep it on a limited basis to get started. I have searched all over Honda's internet sirtes and not come up with an address, name or anything else. Any help or information would be sincerely appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I was wondering the same thing, and so far I haven't found anything, anywhere. My best guess would be going to one of the few ATV or motorcycle trade shows, and talking to the Honda factory/division rep.

Be advised, however, that Honda most likely will require a full motorcycle and ATV commitment, including stocking new units, factory-certified technicians, and a certain dollar amount of parts on hand. I have never seen an ATV-specific dealer (that's what I want to do), so I'm guessing they lump the bikes with the ATV's into a single division, seperate from their car, generator, outboard, and lawn mower divisions.

I know I've seen info on becoming a dealer on other manufacturer's web pages, specifically Polaris, but nada on Honda's page. Good luck and let us know what you find out.
