Rubicon.....performance mods, are there any?

HEY bdsomers, That's what I'm looking for, THANKS!!! I just leaned out the jet kit and picked up a bunch of power and got 50 miles before having to go to reserve. If you're set at the recommended setting I'd try dropping one step, I was really surprised it made such a huge difference in my economy, almost ten miles more. I'd be willing to bet you've done that though...... Something to think about, the bigger tires aren't showing the actual mileage you're going, they're showing less than you're actually traveling. The computer is set for the stock tire setting and yours are a bigger circumference than what it thinks are on it.
Heh,heh.... Where were those rocket scientists from? Certainly weren't "local talent". Aren't those guys from WWII dead anyway? I believe the guys that started the whole flying thing were from Ohio too........but darn it, they're dead too..................enough of that.
CB250 over extended his welcome in the forum. Guess he can't take a hint. It's nice to see they don't put up with that kind of unnecessary crap in here.
That was a bunch of stuff to cover, it's been fun, I just hope the moderators don't get burned out with all these twits running their mouths slamming each other. It's too bad more of them don't understand that we're all in here trying to enjoy the same thing, riding the dirt and we should be glad we can still do just that, and a lot of us, together. We should be helping each other, not tearing each other down.

I have tried a leaner jetting but after a long day in the mud my quad was overheating. Going richer on the jetting solved that problem for me. Another good mod for your rubi is a full length skid plate from highlifter. It allows access to the filter with out taking off the plate.
I have also ordered a heatfighter kit from them which should drop my engine temp even more.
