With stock tires, the 250 pushes (understears) a bit and is a little tippy. I cured this with a change to Holeshot tires on wider (ITP 9X9) rims. The suspension is kind of on the tight side, and not near as plush as say a 300EX. It's a good trail bike, and has surprizingly good top speed. Here in the desert we don't ride much mud, so I can't say anything about that. Ours does ok in the dunes. We run Skat-Track Edges, with 6 paddles on back, and Mohawks on front. You have to ride aggressively though, and keep up your momentum in the big stuff.
