Honda TRX250R junk?

i've got the simplest answer to all your problems,, forget about argueing over this post. all you 250R guys, go out there, buy an R get about 4 or 5 thousand in it after you mod it up, and then go kill a new 7,000 dollar raptor. you'll already have all the mods 2,000 dollars cheaper when he just got a stock quad. i say if you like R's, pay for an R,,, and if you like new quads like raptor and 400ex's, go buy a new quad, no big deal.

People should take the aricle as "heads-up",not a put-down.
I do think they had to look pretty hard (or build)to find one that bad. With all the probs with its seems like an exageration.I have found two in the past 3 years and neither have been as bad as the one in article .i did feel only of two one was worth rebuilding, the 1st one went $2,500.00 beat up(after buying it for$1,500.00& investing aprox.300.00 in it)the second one is still mine (paid 1,800.00)& I rebuilt entire machine except motor cause it is strong still. Was reringed just prior to me buying, later gonna build a 310 or 330 motor.

Yeah there are some pretty nice dunes down here. They are about an hour from where I live. Was just there on Labor day and there were lots of people out there. I think that me and my friends are planning a trip there on Oct. 20 (when it cool off). Let me know if you want to meet us up there. RR

<< That's a cool looking blue Shelby Juggalo. If I had one, it wouldn't be traded for a "new" mustang. That thing is a classic, and those motors were monsters. I know I had a green '69 Charger RT 440ci with dual quads feeding it. Hard to explain to anyone that's only driven "new" cars (or quads). >>
thanks. its not actually mine yet (its still my dads but one day it'lll be mine) and i wouldn't really trade it for a new mustang. i do want a new mustang tho. i know their nowhere near the perfromance but i love em anyways.
