I own an 85 ATC250R and my question is, what would cause gas to be coming out of the overflow tube constantly(the one coming from the float bowl)? The carb is stock and was just rebuilt. All my jets and stuff are clean so I have no clue what is up with it? Could it be the float itself?

I can't get mine to stop either, I just put in a new valve but no luck, I set the float at 16mm. Don't know what to do.

I got mine to stop running(I think) but why does it get such bad gas mileage? It is stock except a k&n filter.

Assuming everything else is adjusted properly, your floats may still be too high - gas may still be coming out the overflow tube as you ride.
