old school honda 300 questions

i was looking at the high lifter page when i ran across this product called a 355 honda kit for a 300trx. Would anyone have any idea if it is used on 4x4 only. Also i would love to hear any opinions on it. I would love to put some money in on my 300trx just dont want to waste it if this thing is junk. thanks for any help
