Just picked up a 2002 Ranchers ES 4x4 about 2 weeks ago. $4800. Put about 350 miles on it already and have had it up to the seat in Mud and Water. No problems at all. I did read some posts about some shifting problems, hopefully these have all been fixed by now. Went trail riding with some friends and this is the story about going up a quite huge hill. One guy had a Polaris scrambler 400 4 x 4 and he had to take a running start to make it up the hill and almost got stuck. One guy had a Yamaha 350 blaster and he got stuck. The other guy had a 250 Suzuki quadrunner and he got stock. I climbed up the hill in 3rd gear, stopped halfway up to help others get unstuck and then hopped back on and continued to crawl up the hill with no Problem. What a machine!!!! As soon as we got to the top of the hill the other guy were a little jealous at that point. I would highly recommend this machine.
