has anyone removed their rancher's carb? i have never seen a single
cv carb with the choke & throttle cables run into the body. is it
ok to just unscrew the cables from the body?

I haven't touched the throttle cable, but the choke cable actuates some kind of piston assembly. Unscrew the nut and the cable and piston come right out.
