Check out this site www.clear-guard.com, their selling a protection kit which reduces scratches on your atv plastic. Has any one purchased a kit from them?

I bought a simular produce for my XR back in 91' and it worked great to keep my tank stickers from getting hashed, but did yellow in time with fuel spill

I purchased a clear guard protection kit for my 400EX. The kit covers the majority of the front and rear fenders. I shouldn't worry about spilling any gas on the fenders, but if I do, the web site (FAQ) states that gasoline will not harm the film, and it also has UV protection, so it and the plastic won't fade. I'm happy with the product.

If anyone out there has a 300ex and has purchased this product I'd like to know how it worked on the convex surface of the fenders? personally I really don't think that it will work very well unless the product shrinks with heat! If you go on the website they don't show any close ups of the film on the fenders like they do on the flat surfaces of the grizz, I believe they just took a picture of a fairly new 300ex Without the plastic film!!??

My kit was easy to apply, you don't need a heat gun, just follow the instructions and use the application tools which came with the kit. If you look at the kit design for the 300EX (under purchase clear guard) it looks like the kit covers the nose piece and top half of the front fenders (not the whole fender), while the rear fender design is larger, which would cover a larger area.
