Hi..have no manual with newly acquired 1988 300 4x4. I just changed both diffs and used Mobil One synthetic 75-90 gear oil (rear label says ok for limited slip) I wouldn't think I need to put any additives huh? Pls let me know otherwise.
Regarding the small transfer case just ahead of the motor (connects to the rear of the front drive shaft) it has the big check/fill plug on top. I can barely read something like 200ml on the case nearby. Is that right? Can I put the MobilOne in there too? Do I pull the fluid out the top like the diffs or is there a drain plug?
Lastly, can someone give me a quick rundown on changing the engine oil? Where's the filter? :-) Thx for any/all replies!
