hey jeff/madman how you guys doing. I've tried the snow routine last season bought mine a year ago (2x4), and I never got stuck in the snow we had in LOWER mich, lol , even went into the mounds at mt morris , luckily not getting stuck. We had snow (in the hood 12"+ in fields not pavement) above the 9.7 clearance the rancher has and I only came close to getting stuck once, had(2nd passanger)but rocked the baby and it came free. The skid plate front and the underbody design help allow for no hang-ups.

trx350dude I'm going with gbc gators on mine (25x12x10) light, cheap and muddy.

Hey Scott,
When and where do you want to get together and ride?
Is the 9.75" clearance under the center of the quad? What is the clearance at the lowest point of the swingarm? So in our huge December snow last year the 2x4 did real well up to 10"??? Was that with the gators, or stock tires?
Thanks.

Hey Jeff, that measurement is under frame 9.7". The clearance under the rear drive axle housing is 7.75" (and it isn't very wide 2" to 3&quot. Sorry forgot to mention my quad is %100 stock (wheels included), was looking to purchase Gators though for the trip up to Hulbert U.P. with the gang leaving this Thursday. I am going to go up north to ride some of the Meadows (leaving from MaDeeter's) with my son the next weekend If weather is somewhat reasonable. Your more than welcome to join us for that/or any trip. If we/all us stay at my buddies cabin "THE SHACK" east of Grayling on M-72, we may even ride the north loop of Frederic, make a big weekend out of it before the year ends for him - 2 wheels (lol, told him i would buy a quad, oh well). You know the game %95 rider/%5 bike, well sometimes, you know what i mean. you had a 400ex and i seen some riders go places i thought twice.

How's that new Kawi going, , at least if she gets stuck you'll be there....
