My dad is looking for a new ATV, we originally wanted a 4wd. He was looking in some local recreational traders, and he really likes the 400EX's, they seem to have a good price tag for used ones.(we want used only)

I want to know if a 400EX would be good for us...are they any good at all for minor work??, like pulling a light grader for our stones on our driveway??, I know they dont come with racks, can you buy racks for them?? And how good are the 400EX's in snow??.

I would like to have a 400EX, even though it isnt a work machine. We wouldnt use it alot for work, mostly play.

Is this machine good enough for us or would we need a 4x4??

The 400EX is not that kind of machine. You have your eye on the wrong bike.

 

Pulling a grader with an EX would be like using a Porshe 911 to haul debris to the dumps.

 

LOL, ok a 400EX isnt our thing.

Maybe a Scrambler 4x4.....we like those too, I think those are good for us.

 

A scrambler isn't much of a workhorse either.

 

use ur 200sx for work and the 400EX for play

I think the Scrambler 500 would be a good choice for you, but the 400 is more sporty than utility. You can use the SCR400 to pull, but the 4 stroke would do what you want better.. The 400 can be modded, and with mods, they are FAST!
