Painting the gas tank on a 300 4WD
#2
This is a guess but I would think it would be just like doing a car. Start by sanding off all the old paint with sand paper and finish sand it with a real light paper, like 200 wet sand paper. After that prime it with a good coat of primer. I'm sure Honda sells that red paint in spray cans, pick up a few cans and get to painting. I'm not sure but this would be just an idea. You could put a layer of clear coat paint over the final coat of red to give it a little more protection. But I'm not a paint man so this is just what I might do. Hopefully someone out there who has done it can tell you a better way.
Good luck,
Chris
