I AGREE,
IM SORRY BUT A 400EX DOES NOT STAND A CHANCE AGAIMST A BANSHEE.
LOOK AT MY BIKE! I HAVE 2500 IN MY MOTOR ALONE AND I STILL CANT BEAT ONE
2 OF MY BUDDIES HAVE BANSHEES AND THEY ARE FAST.
I DONT BELIEVE ANY OF YOU GUYS WHO SAY YOU BEAT EVEN STOCK ONES!
I AM NOT MAKING FUN OF THE 400'S EITHER SINCE I RIDE ONE AND LOVE IT!
I HAVE MY GEARING DONE AS WELL IS DOENT MATTER.
FOR YOU GUSY OUT THERE THINKING OF MAKING YOUR EX MOVE, STICK IN THE RAPTOR CATAGORY
YOU MAY BEAT THOSE BUT BANSHEES ARE OUT OF OUR RANGE!

AND LT250 CALM DOWN ON YOUR MESSAGES TO OTHERS
BECAUSE THERE IS A REASON THAT EVERYONE HATES THERE LT
TRADE UP TO A 250R!

 

I would have to say....Hmmmmmm... I mean, I have a banshee and a 400ex....the 400ex is 100% stock....comfortable, well mannered...good trail power...but it is a dog for sure. Very very slow. And I have been riding machines for over 20 years now.

I guess I do not discount any of your races...since I was not there... But stock for stock, I would race any 400ex against a banshee on any terrain..you pick. I would be so bold as to bring my title with me....I could use another machine for my wife [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]...Anyone want to give away their 400...let me know [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Seriously guys...think about it for a while...and I do not want to hear a thing about traction this and torque that...you need not worry yourself with these numbers just yet.

BAAAAD400EX

I love my LT 250R, most of my friends have EX's some have DS's and a Banshee, on a track I can stay with anyone, although I get a little more arm pump. Why don't you go to the Suzuki forum and ask how many quadracer owners hate their LT, TRY IT, GO AHEAD, I didn't think so

 

Well, since this post has been rejuvinated, I'll add some fresh information. I have had a chance to race my buddy again on his stock Banshee and I beat him again. Not only has he been beaten by my 400EX, but he has also been beaten by another friends 400EX. His 400EX has only a K&N and a Pro Circuit pipe. However we are all going to Glamis for Thanksgiving where the Banshee has high hopes of beating the two 400EX's. Frankly I'll be surprised if I can take him in the dunes. However, He'll still get a whoopin by my blue dinosaur.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Yeah...don't take my post wrong.... It was a busy day at work yesterday...I'm sure I typed that response on the way by my desk.
But I still stand...the guy on the banshee must be doing something wrong...remember..stock for stock drag right?
If you wanted to go mod for mod...then it still stands. I have spent too much money on my banshee to say the least. It's fun to take out your box of receipts and add everything up. When you get done adding...go look up the value of the quad. It's depressing to see that you get to lose more than $4000 in extras at sale time.

Well thats great you love your LT but other people love their investments as well.
I know for a fact that LT's have many problems as my friend used to have 2. The 250R is a lot better of a bike. I myself cannot say anything bad about Suzuki as I rode a RM250 for a few years. My whole point is not to make fun of other peoples stuff or try to hype up your own against others. I myself could say a lot about my bike against yours on a track,but who cares!!
Its a bike, I have one and so do you. I rather go out riding than sit and argue on which bikes are better. The point of a bike is HAVE FUN!!!
