Full floorboards for Honda Foreman S?
#1
Is it possible to fit the same floorboards found on the Foreman ES onto the Foreman S? The only problem I can think of is the foot shifter, however I noticed some companies offer aftermarket floorboards, and perhaps clearance of the foot shifter is not a problem? I do not like the aftermarket floorboards, and would want to stick with the oem floorboards found on the ES.
Thanks,
Jeff

You would have to weld some "nerf-bar" like things (go look at the bottom of a 450es)to your frame, and you would have to buy a speacial shifter from Honda (around $25).
A 450es owner told me about this shifter. He said the salesman told him that if the es ever breaks he could convert it to a "S" model by 1.) removing the shifter moter and 2.) buy this speacial shifter from Honda that is made to work with the foorboards and it doesn't fall off like the manual lever.

Jeff,
I don't know about the plastic from an ES fitting the S, but if you did, you would probably have to use a "rocker" type shifter like some of the Artic cats.
Good luck
