I was just sitting here thinking about my quads..(as always) And I started thinking, which spark plug is better? NGK B8ES, BR8ES, B9ES, BR9ES? My friend runs a BR9ES in his CR125, and I run BR8ES's in the 250R, and B8ES's in the Banshee. Which one is better? Does a resistor plug really do any good? Thanks,

I run BR8ES's in the colder weather and a BR9ES in the warmer weather. I also have run a BR8EG and it was just too hot so i am saving that one for the 30 degree days. I hope that helped.

Is this right? Use a colder plug in colder weather? I would've thought it would be the other way around.

I dont know why but it works for me, when I first got my R it was hot and I was running the BR9ES and when it started to cool off it didnt run to great so i poped in the BR8ES and it runs good with that.

I personally haven't noticed a difference running resister vs. non resister plugs. (eg B8ES vs. BR8ES)
