I wrote a letter to the department of moter vehicles on street
legalizing an atv but havnt benn able to get in touch with them maybe
someone else will have better luck than me. Heres the letter-
Since the bike will have to pass for inspection purposes, you will need
to
contact the
La. State Police Safety/Enforcement Office in your Troop area to
determine
what will be needed. You may call Headquarters Safety/Enforcement at
225 925-6984 to find out their telephone number.

If the bike can be made street legal, contact us back and we will be
glad
to advise
you what will be needed in order to have the bike titled for street
use.
