Don't discount what a good pipe could do for you. A GOOD pipe is by far the most bang you'll get for your buck.

Hey Doug, I bolted on the 38 Air Striker Carb I got from you last week, it solved all my problems, the jetting was right on. A world of difference and tons of power. Thanks again, I'll definitally be talking to you soon about the pipe.

Hey, good to hear from you. It's nice to get rid of some "gremlins", isn't it?! Did your lost money order ever show up? Keep in touch.

thanks

What is a good pipe? LRD? ESR?

I run an ESR TRX5 pipe and porting from MP Racing Dave at MP has found the TRX5 pipe to really match his porting well, and my machine flat out hauls. Check out his page for prices (varies quite a bit). The thing I like about places like ESR and MP Racing is that they don't mind talking to you and telling you what you're getting, how it will work, and where it will work. Not this 'send us your cylinder and well make it fast' without telling you WHAT they'll be doing.

you could be openning up a big topic asking about whos best. Definetaly go with someone you can get ahold of. Cant put a price on customer service. i went with macdizzy because his website showed all details and im very very happy. his website is down now though. you may have to flip a coin because everyone you ask will recomend his/her engine builder.
