bypassing neutral switch on 1985 Big Red

Hi guys. Does anyone have a way of bypassing the neutral switch so the ATC can start in any gear. There is a catch however. I want the neutral light to work in a regular manner, so just grouding the neutral switch is not a viable option since the light would stay on all the time. Hope someone can help.
