I agree with the plug in the exhaust idea. The dialectic (sp?) grease that you were talking about is a water resistant grease that you put on your electircal connections for example, spark plug cap, starter terminals, etc.. I use it all the time and it works great.

Ok, dont even try to tell me that a 4 stroke doesnt take a while to warm up. They definately take longer than a 2 stroke. I know that you, killer250r, are known for coming on here and starting a bunch of crap. 4 strokes do take a while to warm up. I have been around this sport a long time, known many 2 and 4 stroke riders and have riden both myself. No matter who you ask who has been around for a while, they will tell you the same. If telling my experiences is starting a bunch of crap then yes I am guilty. I have owned both 2 stroke and 4 strokes and in my experiences 2 strokes take longer to warm up. I am not talking about which one will sit there and idle first I am talking about which one will be up to full power first and in ALL my experiences the 4 strokes are up to power faster, I am not going to argue about this because none of you were or are there so you cannot dispute what I have said, I shouldnt have said anything about it.

My CR seems to take forever to warm up but thats liquid cooled vs. air cooled. I bet if my X was liquid cooled it'd take just as long to warm up. Granted with a built engine my X is going to warm up pretty quick but my CR is built a little bit too, Pipes, 80 over, porting, and filter.

I couldn't resist. Every 4-stroke I've ever had was a cold blooded SOB. Took a while to get warm. 2-strokes heat up in a hurry, it's a fact.
