which is better 300ex or 400ex. i ride mostly in wood trails. i have a 300ex but i want a new one. which should i get. help guys.

 

Never rode a 300EX, but I love my 400EX! Awsome for trail riding!!!

 

I have a 300 and ride 400's all the time. The 400 is definatly faster, has a little better suspension for the trails, and the 300 tires are better for mud and trails because of their ballonness which gives a better ride and does better in mud, but doesnt slide as good as the 400 and the 400 tires are more aggressiave ridin. The 300 is cheaper, but you can get a used 400 for around $4000! and a used 300 for about $2500, but you want a new one so that'll be different.
