If you have a Dremel tool just grind the top of the pin off flush with the connector. Then use soemthing the same size as the pin and drive it out with a hammer. I use a punch or even a nail cut off flat. Then I hold it with a pair of vise grips over the pin and pound it out with a hammer. Sometimes it takes a few good whacks. Careful not to hit your chain and damage it though.
