Why put a snorkel on a 450s it dosent have an automatic transmission

You still have to have something to keep the water out of the transmission. The crankcase has a vent tube that you have to extend and run it up the side of the intake snorkel to keep water out. The same thing has to be done to the carb. vent tube, differential vent tubes, and brake housing vent tubes.

Okay, so you can do this without ruining anything, if all's sealed right and all the breather tubes are routed into a snorkel high and dry one's set. Many of the foremans factory beathers are at the top of the frame cradle, that's okay till you get seat deep, then.....
