Slow 450es
#21
Variable ratio transmissions are supposed to downshift with the slightest resistance. It is called backshifting, and snowmobilers pay Hundreds of dollars for clutch modifications to allow for faster backshifting. Backshifting allows the machine to always run within the power band and "be in the right gear" so to speak.
I would like to run your families 450 sometime at a real 50+ MPH and we could see who was following who. Don't sell that high torque 53 MPH Honda 450. If Honda knew you were going that fast they would recall your machine and replace its rev limiter, to slow it down like everyone elses.
