I just had the Supertrapp exhaust put on my 2000 Recon and I'm not too sure how to how to remove or ad the disks.I'm wanting more power for climbing hills and stuff like that.I don't really care about high end speed.I don't really know alot about stuff like this so any help would be appreciated.

The more disks you put in the louder it is, and the more power you will have. All supertrapps disks, at least the ones that I have seen, are held in place by bolts going from the back of the pipe. If it is a IDS pipe you have to take off the end cap, to access these bolts. One thing to remeber is that with changing the disks, heck with adding the pipe you need to rejet your carb, and another good idea is since you increase your exhaust flow is to increase your air flow into the motor. A K&N filter is a great thing to add with the pipe. Again remeber that with these mods the machine does need to be rejetted.

I run a Supertrapp on my Curtis Sparks pipe and it is the older Ods type which came with, I believe, four discs. I am running 20 discs for high end. If I were you I'd run just what the unit came with as that will give you the low end torque you desire. Supertrapp reccomends a minimum of 4 discs, in any case,With this number you probably need to go one size fatter on your main jet, assuming that you have not done any other modifications to your air intake.
after you go one size up on your main jet, run your bike at 3/4 to full rpms for a mile, stop right there & pull the plug: if it is a nice chocolate brown or tan, you have jetted it correctly.
