Why does everyone say a stock 400EX does 65-68? did you check your throttle?? my 00' 400 will top out at 80mph on flat asphalt and its all stock!!, no mods what so ever. are you just hiding its true potential to those banshee lovers???

I agree with Banshee Killer. My stock 00' EX tops out around 68mph on the highway.

Quick question. I am gettin 22" Realtor's (for mud/sand/snow). Can I change the front sprocket to a 14 tooth without breaking the chain?

You can get off the stock chain without cutting it, all you have to do is remove the swing arm. You can change the sprockets without taking off the chain, as long as you have enough adjustment to bring it to the proper amount of slack. If you are realy changing the gearing, you will have to add or remove links.
