Forgive me if this info is available here and I could not find it, I tryed the search function but it was no help.
I bought a Honda Big Red 250 3 wheeler new in 1988. It was the last year 3 wheelers were being sold here, it was the last year honda made it (1987 model).
Wish I had a got a 4 wheeler but that is water under the bridge so to speak. Fast forward to 18 mos or so ago found me happily using my 3 wheeler for hunting and just fun riding.
I am a member of 2 hunting clubs here in Fl, both are now owned by the same big name corp. Who as of about 18 or so mos. ago come out with a rule that no 3 wheelers or motorcycles could be used on their land. My 250 is still in good shape, it does not smoke and will always start very easily. A new 4 wheeler is not in the budget in the forseeable future.
Here's my question, does anyone know of any kits for converting 3 wheelers into a 4 wheeler that is cost efficient.
I don't have a lot of money to put in this conversion but I would like to continue to get the best out of my good atv that I have now.
Is there another method to make my 3 wheeler into a 4 wheeler?
The land owners have no such rules about 4 wheelers.
I know of 5 or 6 friends of mine who are in the same boat I am.
If some of you could help it would be most appreciated. I figured that if anyone knows some of you will. Thank you for your help in advance.

The cheapest and best way would be to find a '85-'87 TRX250 or a '88-'95 TRX300 that you can get on the cheap [one blown maybe].

The engine from your Big Red is a bolt in on both models. No mods. neccessary.

Thank You for taking time to get me this info. A blown 250 or 300 4 wheeler will most likely be the best route for me to go. I will look into the conversion kit to see what it has to offer for the $. Once Again thanks to all: Joey Sanders
