I am thinkin about gettin a recon to mess around on,what is the top speed on them?How does there speed and acceleration compare to a Yamaha Timberwolf?

 

Top speed 45-50

Mine had better accel then a timberwolf and higher top speed.

hey a recon does have more accleration than a t'wolf (i have a t wolf) and i draged raced my buddy on his o1 recon and it leaves me from the start but he never gets more than 1 4 wheeler length in front of me but once he fully winds out and hits rev limiter i can come back and pass him slowley but surely and ny t wolf is completly stock and it seems like it slides better than recons do.

 

Yeah it might go 45 -50 if you clock it with a car driving next to it. we clocked my buddys going 39.48 with the speed check.

No, I went 48.1 mph and it always goes about 48 mph. This was according to my Global Positioning System reciever that is accurate to +/- 0.1 mph. Mine will go 38.2 in 4th gear, maybe your buddy forgot to shift into 5th gear.
