Well, since my 250R is apart I am bored and need something to do.........so I was thinking about cleaning up the inside of the reed cage with a dermel to smooth up all the rough edges for alittle better flow. What do you guys think about this?

BTW I am buying a CR reed cage anyway so it doesn't matter if it gets messed up. I would just do this as a test to se if I should do it to the CR, thinks its worth the time >?

I would have to say that could be a winning sir nair ree o. Dermel is the weapon of choice for the star pattern on the disks and the reed cages as well.

I have ported a stock reed cage with good results on a high rev ported cylinder.
