you know honda man //a mind is a terrible thing to waste...so stop taking oxycontins and smoking dope because your three hundred cant pull a 500 polaris..it isnt a motor thing..it is a weight thing.and polaris quads are over weight..i pulled 300 //400 //450//300 kingquads//454 arctic cats/500quadmasters all with no problem with my old sportsman..

Yep, today I pulled out full size superdutys and even gave a semi a tug up on the Mountin as they got 3 feet of fresh snow in a day on top of the 180" All I did was shovel the back of my toyota full of snow and slap it in 2nd gear low range!

boneylong, think what you want buddy, but i did hook and pull against a 500, and neither of us went anywhere. Like i said, weight doesn't mean anything if you can't keep traction. I did, he didn't...simple as that...honda 300 holding it's own against a sportsman 500. I guess it just comes down to simple polaris owners ignorance.

anyone here who actually hooked their atv up to another knows that it is weight..i could take a polaris 500 6x6 and pull two 300 4x4s.i think you are eat up with honda sh*t..because that is all that is coming out of your mouth..you have the only 12 hp 500 pound pro class atv pulling machine in the world.all you have is superlow first gear that is way too slow and then your second gear it would just bog your 12 hp down..the polaris can spin the 700 pound atv tires 30 mph with a 200 pound rider on board.now tell me how you can pull it.??the only way you could pull it is if he was in nuetral and wasnt using his brakes.

Ok buddy, whatever you say....just let me reminisce all the times when my vamped 300 has pushed a stock sportsman out of the mud hole. You must mean rehab for all the polaris' out there with wet belts and broken drive shafts.

why should people buy big bore 4x4s when they could get a 10 year old honda 300 that will pull twice as much than any 700 polaris and 650twin/660grizz..its hard to beleive that your 5 inch ground clearance can be a better mudder than a sportsman..super honda!!!!!!!the only way you pushed a 500 sportsman was if you had a sportsman pushing you to get to him!

Why? because they're bullet proof quads....i've sunk mine numerous times, drained the water out the airbox, exhaust pipe, and even took the spark plug out and kicked it over and got water out the cylinder!!!....and then it cranked right back up minutes later and ran fine....thats why! And about my 5 inches of ground clearance....i have 6.8 stock....plus 26 inch vamps.....make that 8.8....plus a two inch lift....make that 10.8.....air the 26's to 27's....make that 11.8....gee ground clearance huh? Like i said, when the polaris gets stuck....i go right through behind him and push him out....and then climb out myself.

measure from your rear differential..that should be 5 to 6 inches on yours!!!that hangs you up in a good rut!!!
