i was just wondering ...what is the fastest 400ex youve ever seen...i dont care how tricked out it was..and how much money they spent on it...just how fast was it..and where and when did you see it

 

Check out some of the posts on the "4 stroke shootout" sounds like there were some NOS 400's there that could hold their own.

 

A friends 400ex (Michigan), actualy a TC 465 stroker motor. Not sure of the costs but probably over $2800 invested.

 

The fastest 400ex I saw was very very fast.I am not sure what was all done to it the guy wasn't very specific.But he said it had a different cam,head ported,white bro's ehxaust and some other stuff.But he was beating my moded 250r and piped banshee's!It was extremely fast.I was shocked.We lined up and He was gone.Accuatly our top end was about the same.I have a picture of us racing but it so far way I doubt U could tell what it was my scanner.

in puerto rico they are big into street drag racing and one guy came up with a turbo for his he owns a shop
this thing looks sweet it looks really nice and fits all the cuves awsome it will put out around 60 horsepower but you will pay for it he has a fuel pump and itercooler he races anyone daring enough and is unbeaten
hey nice xr 75 i started on one myself it was a 1975 they are the toughest thing ive ever seen me and my three brothers learned how to shift on it not to mention how many other people and it still runs great

 

4 Stroke Wars MLK weekend at Glamis. A Sparks built 465EX on alky. I have never seen a faster 400EX.

 

No pudjumper I wasn't there.I am sure it is the same guy though.He came to my work.(KFC in crystal city)A couple of weeks ago.And said he is down there about every weekend.His son also has a fast 400.He has shaved fenders,different graphics,ac nerfs and stock wheels and tires.It is fast isn't it.


U race at big river don't U.DO U know mark dicken's?I rode his shee and it really fast.Fastest bike I have rode.Also I know davey eubanks.He has that 1000 kawaskai three wheeler.I rode with mark alot this summer.

Yea I know who it is, in fact I was racing with them this past Sunday. Jenkins is their last name. The son has a 440, race cam, porting with a R-4 pipe. It is fast. The kid and the old man both only weigh 200 lbs combined. lol. My 440 is at the builder as we speak getting larger intake and exhaust valves, 493/9i race cam, Carillo rod and a FCR41 on alcohol. I'm gonna beat these guys one way or another. This past Sunday he was having problems with his clutch. I've probably raced you to at St. Joe. I also have a '97 Sport with a HPD race motor on alcohol you might have seen.

I don't know Dickens by name, but I would probably know him by face. I do know Davey. I race a Bonne Terre to.

 

I don't go to st joe much.I went there in novemeber and before that it had been a couple years.I can drive now though so I plan on going there more often.My 250r is in a million peices right.It is getting a complete new lower end including center cases and crank,hinson clutch etc.Then I will be running the new ESR330 bolt on kit with their exhaust and a khein 38mm carb.Next time I go to st joe I am going to get some paddles.I plan on racing down in bonne terre also.

Mark has a red and white banshee.It is an 87 with completly shaved fenders.FTZ drag pipes.He also has a sport that his wife used to race down there.

I was at the atv nationals where U there?


We will have to ride at st joe some time!
