Cartman308, I don't think you could go wrong with the Rancher, I've had mine about a month and am very satisfied. The differance between the 450's and the Ranchers as far as performance, not much in top speed. The 450 does seem to have a little more low end torque, which would probably make it a better machine to modify for serious mud use. But the Rancher is much better at trail riding, easier turning and more comfortable. ES or not? As a life long toe shifter I can't say, I'm still not use to it but I think I'm gonna like it. As far as keeping up with your buddys, in a drag race you will end up last, but through a trail they will be trying to catch you. No kidding it handles that good. By the way it is alot bigger than a trx3oo4x4, almost as big as the Forman. Good luck, and let us know what you end up with.

i'm gonna hafta get to the dealer and look up the rancher. if i do go for the rancher it will be the esp because ya get the digital speedo with it.

buying a rancher with esp is like marrying a pretty woman. buying without is like marrying an ugly woman. you can live with both of them, but one is a lot more fun to ride!
