Rancher will not start when cold.
#11
I had 2 Honda motorcycles that would do that. Would not start at 40 degrees or under. Very same problem. I bought a Battery Tender(39.95). No more problem. Turn switch and choke on and hit the starter button. Sometimes it wouldn't turn over twice before it started. This worked on both motorcycles. Haven't had any trouble with my Rancher yet. Good luck.

My 250sx is the same way. Although it is an 86, it wont start up in cold weather when it hasnt been ridden for awhile. I have two options, i can either sit there and kick the living **** out of it for about 10 mins until it starts to fire or I take off the seat and spray some starting fluid on the airfilter while holding in the electic starter. Works like a charm for me, but who knows your probably could be something totally different.
