how big (or small) is a 250ex? could it fit me? 5'9, 275 pounds?

I guess you could get on it. I don't think you would like it because of your size. The power to your weight would be terrible. Spurge and check out a red 400EX.

I Sounds like your a BIT to big for the little Quad, You might want to consider either 300ex or a 400ex. Preferibly 400ex Cause if you'll be jumping and you weigh 275 then you'll REALLY want a 400ex, Yet it also depends if you have the money for a 400ex, But if you won't be jumping then a 300ex should be fine. My riding buddies 8 year old has one and loves it. It is way too small for you, or anyone else 5'9".

 

maybe if you were a little lighter, yeah you could fit fine. But for as much as you weigh, I'd get the DS650.

 

omg! i didnt look at my post until now. i dont weigh 275!!!! i only weigh 175. i didnt even notice it. i was in study hall at scholl and i was trying to hurry, and i didnt even spell check. would it fit me since i am only 175???????

100 pounds thats a big lift off that 250ex. I can hang with the best in the woods with my Recon. The 250EX would be much better now but still check out that red 400EX.

i love riding my wifes 250ex im 185. i hate the shocks. like riding a hay wagon. on trails it awesome. love that reverse. reverse is the bomb. if your a jumper youll have to splurge for some shocks.

 

i dont really want a 400ex, i dont want chain, or manual clutch, but i still donty know if i am too big for a 250ex

 

You might overload the engine, but I seriously doubt it.
