416EX keep up with Raptors?

Well I have a 426ex and it will eat a stock raptor for lunch and can keep up with a piped raptor as well. They guy that helped me do my motor ported it for nothing and got it set up very good. I put a WB promeg exhaust and can't wait to see what it will do against a piped raptor.

Pro400- A 416 will do okay but most built 400's will not break 40hp. Shaneeb made 43 at FSW's on his and he was strong. That was a little higher than most piped raptors. A lot of 686 were breaking 50hp and that is going to be hard to do on a 400. 55hp and higher raptors are going to be a common site before to long.

i agree w/ jakalwarrior... you won't beat a stock raptor w/ an average 416. i raced a big bore 440ex w/ yoshi pipe on my stock raptor w/ full skids and it was real even up til 3rd gear where i took over, i don't know how far the race was but i had just shifted to fifth as the race was over and i would guess i was 2-3 lenghts ahead, but i thought it was pretty impressive for a 440 to keep up w/ a 660, my machine had added weight(skids) but the riders weight was pretty much the same. I just don't see a 416 being faster unless the rider is better or it is a very well built 416.
corndog - i didn't know that cannibals were that fast, i thought they were slightly faster than a stock raptor, i would guess the piped raptor wasn't rejetted or wasn't as good a rider as you, but i dunno.

Just to let you guys know, I just got back my 400 ex from getting the 416 kit 10.8-1 compression piston and White Bros. cam bore and re-jetted. It's got the White Bros. CDI box , sprockets, K&N filter. My friend has a raptor that just had a K&N power up kit put in with new jets and he has the T-4 Pro Circuit pipe on and I SPANKED HIS *** ABOUT 10 TIMES on pavement !!!!! and we both can ride. He weighs about 185 and I weigh 135. Take off and thru the gears I stay out in front. We took off our air box tops and he is much closer but still can't get me!!! Now to all yall who said a 416 could not get a raptor, here is proof.

DoubleR..... that really is not a fair weight comparison
he weighs 50 more pounds than you, and his Raptor weighs 25 more pounds than your EX.... that's a 75 pound advantage you have.... that accounts for a few horses at least....
equal weight and equal skilled riders, you may not beat that Raptor
