OK let me set you strait. It is so funny that some say people on raptors think there god, because thats a lie. They know there god.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] A tweaked up 400ex cant even take a stock raptor that is funny. Hondas are $hit the only good quad they had was the 250r. I have saw a 400ex not even make it up a coal bank riding wide open. Then a raptor come and without a struggle ride right up it . The moral of the story , never and i mean never think that a honda 400ex could take a Yamaha "god" Raptor.

Hey listen i didnt mean to give the wrong impression, i dont have any thing against hondas its just that the people that own them think they can beat a yamaha in a race , thats crazy everyone knows that the Yamaha Raptor is 10 tims the machine a 400ex is even when its bored out to all he!!. So again the 400 ex is ok but it will never compete with the big dogs.



Oh yeah and i just purchased a new suzuki z 400 and that can also take a 400 ex , haha

One thing none of you yamaha guys mention is diplacement. Ur talking about a 400 against a 660 thats a 260cc difference ,thats like tryin to compare a blaster and a blaze440. wether its a 416, 440, or 465 its still a big displacement difference. And bsides the 400ex isnt for dragging its more of a trail/mx bike. A 440 will kill a raptor on a track, theyre heavy and the trannys suck so bad, dont get me wrong i like raptors just not over a 400ex cause all they have is top end.

 

I just got back from the dunes and i race the nicest 400ex ive ever seen and to my suprise smoked it. I asked him what he had done and he said ... 416 kit, ported,edelbrock carb,full pipe,k&n,jetted,gearing and some other little stuff. Dont get me wrong here im just trying to answer what the guys asked. I know he would have smoked my azz on the track but in the dunes i got him.
