honda 250 x answer roost boost (help)

I bought a answer roost boost at a swap meet for my 250x and it did not come with instructions.anyone know anything about these units ie: wiring; what they really do.Or should i get rid of it. any help would be appreciated

From what I remeber hearing, I think the roost boost product was for 2-strokes only...I could be misteaken though.
