Well i went to start my 87 250r today and choked it and it fired up on second kick. was runnign for mabey 30 seconds and most and i turned off the choke and it died. I cant get it to start up any more! I kicked it for a good while. tryed both choke and non choke and it wouldn't fire up. I though mabey the plug was wet so i cleaned it off with some carb cleaner still didnt fire. ANy ideas? thanks!

What are you running your mix at, I think you said 20:1 right? That is wayyy to rich. What oil are you using? Read what the back of the bottle says and use their recommended mix. I would do something between 32:1 and 52:1, which is what I ran in my ATC and my CR250. Oh yea, it was Golden Spectro.

Whoa, way too rich. I personally don't like the oil you are using, but if thats what was ran in it before, keep using it. Bump up your ratio to about 32:1 and if it's still to rich 40:1 would be about perfect.

It hasn't been ran in this quad before. Its just the best oil I have right now i only mixed like a gallon just to get it running with. nothing that will last.
