I didn't know if anybody has seen this engine put in a quad yet. If so, are there any pictures of it yet? I know that it might not be the best engine to put in a quad, but I'm sure somebody will eventually do it.

Go to Walsh 450r. This quad looks awesome. I know that the chassis handles well because I have one and I bet the power is awesome too. Houser Racing also has one.

 

Also, at the dealer show at Indy there was Tim Farr's 450F on display. Doug Gust told me that he had one built for him, but as of then he had not rode it. There are a few other GNC riders having them built.

 

I got my ATV Sport today and it has an article on the crf450r in a quad frame. Pro Fab and Houser made the quad. It looks sweet.

Hey thanks for the responses. Can't wait to see one of these quads in action or see a YZF vx CRF vs FX shoot out, that would be the cream of the crop! I would be happy for whoever won that shootout! Hopefully Bombardier will also come out with a high rev quad.

I would like to see some mx and gncc titles won with these project quads.

doug gust doesn't use a crf450 quad, he has publicly stated that he is sticking with using the suzuki drz436 motor next season. TC racing has also said this, and suzuki is even rumored to be giving some kind of support to gust next year.
