I saw this 400ex with a colored exhaust heat guard. He said he powder coated it. I have never heard of that before?!? Where can I get some at and how hard is it to put on and about how much would it cost?? I would like to color mine maby a yellow to match my 400ex. Does it have to be powder coat??? Is there not any spray paint the I could use that wont peel and is heat resistant???

I am going to need some powder coating on the bottom of my foot. I love the charge you get out of the coating when it is applied.

powdercoating is the shortened meaning of washable marker painting. simply apply some marker to your heat gaurd and your good. it will only cost around 1$!!!!!!!!!!

Killer, I didn't think that was funny at all!

And for the other people, thanks for the "Honest" and "nice" opinions! (I mean this sarcastically)!!! Im mainly talking to mudmanatv4x4! Dude, I may be crazy but im far from stupid! I found and read a little about powder coating this morning, and its not markers! Its this paint gun thing that costs around $800 and you have to get all this stuff for it. You think im dumb enough to put marker on my 400ex??? Your about stupid!

I tell you one thing, im sure not coming back here for honest answers!! I think the only people in these forums are kids! Thats another reason why Exriders.com forum is alot better, I always get honest opinions and not stupid remarks. Look, I try to be friends with all of you guys! I mean, what have I done to you??? A store around here called Habor Freight sells powder coating kits for only a 100 bucks...find an old oven and your in business...theres also a place where they custom mix colors for you too...it doesnt cost that much to do it yourself
