I want to go get a new Nitro R/C truck this weekend, but don't know which one I want yet, does anybody know of a forum about R/C cars? I only found one and it was for street cars. Thanks.

I know it isn't quad but I have to have something to hold me over until I get a quad.

Thats one that I'm thinking about, and the Nitro Rustler, or the RC10GT. I have a question for ya, how much is fuel for these, usually? Someone told me it was like $30 a gallon or something.

Hey OregonMXRacer:Good luck on getting the C-DALE, I ride dirtbikes and some friends quads, One of my other hobbies is Nitro R/C trucks, Right now I have a Duratrax Maximum MT, ITs got a .16 engine, I drive it in my back yard and jump it and just play around, IT goes pretty fast, Fast enough for me right now,no more room for anymore speed, Whoever told you that it is $30 a gallon is right,I have to pay $25.95 plus tax on my 20% fuel, I am 16 and have a part time job and paying off my 1991 Honda XR250R so I drive the car everyonce in awhile, I don't know of any forum sites for R/C trucks but I am sure there are some out there. I highly recommend the DuraTrax Maximum MT, Its great for just playing around with but It could race farily good to I bet, I have had no engine problems yet and I have put about 2 gallons of fuel throgh it, Make sure if you were to get the MT not to go over 20% fuel or it will not run right or maybe not at all(ITs what the manual says). The Maximum MT jumps great on the jumps I have jumped with it, I am "STILL ON MY ORIGINAL GLOW PLUG AFTER ALL THIS TIME". Make sure you don't lean your carb out to much or it will overheat but if you have it too rich then the car want go as fast and sucks the fuel down "MUCH FASTER"Lean it out a little and you get better performance and the fuel last longer, Good luck and I hope I was of some help,Matt.OH and here is a link to the DuraTrax Maximum MT----->http://duratrax.com/cars/dtxd64x01.html

hey,
i have a nitro rustler but i would prefer the RC10GT its ggreat and ur getting a redy yo run version or the kit, the kit is alot less in price and really isnt thet hard to put together. I the reason i would prefer the rc is because team rc10 gives GREAT tech support and u might try the rc forum at www.rc10.com

Thanks for the help guys, I think I am going to get the Rustler or RC10, because the T-Maxx is too much and not really what I'm looking for, I want a stadium truck and I can't really justify spending over $350 on a R/C car. I can't get the DuraTraxx, nobody sells one around here and I'm not fond of having to ship one form somewhere. How long does a gallon of fuel last?

it will last about 20 minutes depending on how hard you run it. i have a losi and i transplanted a .21 motor in it. the gas only lasts about 6 or 7 min but it is worth it. i also mde some custom tires that dopnt look too great but man does that thing hook up in the loose stuff. i havent run into a hill that it couldnt handle. i could go on all day so ill just stop now.

I would definitely go with the Team Associated RC10GT. Its great to start with, and has unlimited potential. Ive had the RC10T (electric) for about 7 yrs now and its still as big of a contender as it ever was. Just my .02
