440 National Kit
#1
Well I have decided to just get the 440 Kit from Duncan Racing with the Edelbrock Carb included. I need some $ so I'm looking at the Late Fall. That way I will not miss to much riding. Let me know if anybody has heard anything about this Kit from Duncan. I am totally impressed with everything that they have done for me so far. Let me know!

Chappy,
You know better. What do you think? Should I save my $ and get the kit? What would you do? If I did the Raptor would end up like all the other Dinosaurs- EXTINCT I'd even have to say that the Zilla would be in trouble!!

I was drag racing a guy that claimed to have a 440 kit, not sure by who though. Now on this day, we were neck and neck through the whole race. I have raced oterh 440's before and smoked him, so I suspect he was running more than a 440, but I dont know. I was impressed though, he was slaying Raptors left and right..

I sold one of my two 400EX's last week... the guy was replacing his 400EX lost in a fire. He had the 440 kit but he didn't notice much difference. I've always heard a new cam makes the biggest performance gain. As with any engine mods, it's key to get the carb setup to take full advantage of any changes.
Are there any options after a 440 kit? If you need a ring job, do you have to replace the cylinder?

what you need to realize here,is that the stock rod is a problem, and needs to be corrected "before" the kit goes on top.Another thing is that some 440 kits just increase cc's,so it's hard to compare with just knowing the cc's.Duncan has a good name, but TC racing and Sparks are the 4 stroke kings,,TC is in Pa. also,,check him out.814-723-3514

go ahead and spend your money!!! If that's what you have to do to keep up. Chappy will still smoke you hard. It's best to be the predator... instead of the prey !!! That's why they're called ZILLA'S and RAPTORS. All the money you soak into that honda and you could have bought that bada$$ cannondale. Think about it... What are you going to do with all that power and no where to run. Just can't stand to be in third place can you !!!(behind the dinosaurs)
