Is this the last year for the 300EX?

Honda hasn't told anyone about the 300EX being in it's last years. Honda has to have this machine around until it comes out with something new in the sport quad class. If the next sport quad doesn't have reverse, I figure Honda will keep it around until it has a model that does.
Alot of people figured it would be gone after the '01 model when the 250EX was released, but the 250EX doesn't fill any gaps in their lineup and surely doesn't replace the 300EX. the thing is merely a Recon with fancy plastic. Now if they did that with the Rancher, then it would be a different story.
The 300EX is still a good selling machine. We still sell many more 300EX's than we do Warriors. Especially the yellow ones.

if they did do the rancher like that, then that would be awesome. but i dont think they would call it the 350ex. cause my friend's 300ex has more power then my rancher. but then he also has a DG pipe, filter, etc. i can keep up w/ him just fine but its harder to get a good start since the rancher is alot lower geared from 1st-4th
