I have a full dmc and I started to hear an exhaust leak, well come to find out that the 2nd heat shied anchor bolt weld broke completely off the pipe. I e-mailed dmc yesterday but no response. Has anyone else had this trouble ,or trouble with dmc products?

Yo, That happened to me to but both heatshield welds came completly out. You have to call the company that you bought it from which is what i did ( Rocky Mountain ATV ) And they sent me a whole new head pipe with reinforced bracketes that hold the heat shield, its not welded into the pipe like is is normaly. I tried calling DMC to and its impossible to get a hold of them. Hope this helps. Later

I took the pipe to a local weld shop and had it looked at. On the stainless pipe they should be using a tig weld but mig welding is faster ---which means cheaper. The welder told me the mig weld bead was too big. Causing stress on the pipe. I tried to call the Quad Shop in Louisville Kentucky where I bought it and the # has changed -nice,and still no answer from dmc!!!
